Coalition Member Spotlight: NeverTechLate
May 21, 2025

Mission:
NeverTechLate provides digital literacy education for non-traditional students, primarily older adults. Their teachers and coaches empower older generations to get online and use the enriching tools that the digital world has to offer. NeverTechLate operates remotely, but the roots of their organization are in Pennsylvania. Their digital literacy curriculum was developed and refined by a group of academics at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) and most of their instructors are based in PA, teaching remote courses throughout the Northeast region.
NeverTechLate’s core program equips its students with the necessary skills to safely navigate a tablet, perform basic web searches, make video calls, confidently and safely engage and connect with their communities in new ways, and access critical information from financial, healthcare and government services. In addition to the core program, NeverTechLate offers complementary classes on numerous relevant digital literacy topics such as email use, transportation apps like Uber and Lyft, and more.
Impact on their Community:
NeverTechLate has enabled over 100 adults without digital skills to confidently and safely navigate technology, reconnecting them with essential services and their communities. Their students have felt the benefits of their digital education, reporting that they feel more independent, secure online, and less isolated due to NeverTechLate’s courses.
Next Steps:
NeverTechLate’s goals for the future include increasing access to sustainable funding, improving their measurement capacity pre and post programs, and expanding their Train the Trainer offerings for digital literacy teachers.
We’re proud to have NeverTechLate as a key partner in our mission to create a more connected future for the people of Pennsylvania! Follow their work here: https://www.nevertechlate.com/
